KTM has been working on the next generation model of their 390 Duke for a long time. The 390 cc roadster bike has been spotted several times during testing. Once again the image of the bike was caught on camera. The difference with the previous time is that this time the model is completely exposed without any cover. That too from inside the factory. Some information about the 2024 model of the 390 Duke has also surfaced. Let’s find out about them.
2024 KTM 390 Duke: How is it updated?
The new color scheme of the motorcycle is seen in the leaked images. Which is a dual paint scheme. White and orange graphics on the tank are accompanied by matte gray and glossy blue. Again, the updated chassis of the new generation bike is seen in the picture.
RC 390 ও 390 Adventure – As such, the upcoming bike has compression and re-bound adjustments. At the rear is an adjustable a-symmetrical mounted monoshock. But it will only be available on the global model of the motorcycle. The Indian model will appear as a non-adjustable unit. Again, the front disc brake is on the right side, which is a significant change.
2024 KTM 390 Duke : Engine
The engine case and exhaust pipes of the upcoming model will not be identical to the current generation 390 Series. However, no information is known about how the change will happen. Its 373.27 cc single cylinder, liquid cooled engine churns out 42.9 bhp of power at 9,000 rpm and 37 Nm of torque at 7,000 rpm. The powertrain comes with a slipper clutch and quick shifter and a six-speed gearbox.
2024 KTM 390 Duke: Features and Possible Price
The 2024 KTM 390 Duke features traction control and cornering ABS. which is also present in RC 390. The current generation model has full LED lighting and Bluetooth enabled color TFT display. The new version of the motorcycle is likely to be launched in the Indian market in the first half of next year. The price may be kept at Rs 3.25-3.50 lakh (ex-showroom).
